Born and raised in West Germany, I moved to New York City in 1986. I’ve worked in the Printing and Publishing industry for more than 20 years as an Art Director, and later on, as the Director of Publishing for Institutional Investors Newsletters. Shortly after moving to New Jersey I started working at Princeton University. As a young boy I was drawn to sketching and tracing airplanes and super heroes (Superman was my favorite, and still is.) Later on I tried my hand at music. First the guitar, and now the piano.
Painting has become my passion, and after years of exploring various styles like landscapes and abstracts, and mediums such as watercolor and acrylic, I find myself most comfortable in the abstract style of painting. |
